MHM Architects and Interior Designers, in collaboration with hotel developer RBHD from Columbus, Ohio, poured Knoxville's heart and soul into every intricate detail when designing the . From concept to execution, our team meticulously crafted a space that embodies the essence of Knoxville's vibrant spirit and creative energy.

Drawing inspiration from Knoxville's rich cultural heritage, the banquet halls on the park level underwent a complete renovation, including the expansion of the ballroom space. These versatile and dynamic event venues offer an unparalleled setting for gatherings and celebrations, seamlessly blending elegance with functionality.

Adjacent to both the Marriott and THE TENNESSEAN, the Maker Exchange's public areas underwent a significant facelift, enhancing the overall guest experience. A focal point of the transformation is the new entry between the two hotels, adorned with captivating murals created by local artists, providing a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

Inspired by the natural beauty of World's Fair Park, openings along the façade seamlessly connect the renovated interior spaces to the park, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the surrounding greenery and scenic views.

At the Maker Exchange, every element tells a story of Knoxville's rich creative heritage. From locally crafted coffee mugs to the stunning art and fine crafts adorning the walls, we've sourced everything imaginable from Knoxville's vibrant community of Makers. Visitors are invited to experience a truly authentic celebration of the Maker City, where creativity knows no bounds.
