MHM is thrilled to announce we have three new team members at the firm. Kathryn Greer and Jake Thomas are both joining us as project architects and recent graduate Hannah Starnes will join us as an interior designer. Join us in learning more about these talented individuals below.

Kathryn Greer has lived in Knoxville, TN for the past four years following receiving her Master’s degree in Architecture from The University of Tennessee.  Kathryn is a licensed architect with a professional degree in landscape architecture.  She lives with her husband John, son William, and two dogs Pumpkin and Bowie.

Jake Thomas is a licensed architect who has worked in Knoxville since graduating with his Master of Architecture from the University of Tennessee in 2008.  He and his wife Jessie enjoy talking about football and fixing up their old home.

Hannah Starnes recently graduated from the University of Tennessee with her Bachelors in Interior Design.  She interned here at MHM during her senior year and will finally be joining us full time as an Interior Designer. She has lived in Knoxville for the past 4 years and enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and her puppy, Pepper.

MHM was proud to have three projects recognized at the 2017 Orchid Awards. Orchid Beautification Awards are presented by  for buildings and outdoor spaces that beautify and elevate the local landscape.

The Henley Street Pedestrian Bridge received an Orchid in the Public Art Category, The Daniel received an Orchid in the Redesign / Reuse Category, and The Daniel received the Mary Lou Horner Award.

McCarty Holsaple McCarty was honored to win the Knox Heritage Fantastic Fifteen Award for Excellence in Preservation Rehabilitation on The Daniel, located 118 W. Jackson Avenue.
