EAST TENNESSEE COMMUNITY DESIGN CENTER’S ANNUAL SUMMER PARTY
It’s time for the East Tennessee Community Design Center’s annual . This year is special because the event is part of a larger Community Collaborative started by the Design Center that joins the AIA, UT school of Architecture, Knox Heritage, Keep Knoxville Beautiful, the Mayor’s Maker Council, City of Knoxville, and the ETCDC. The goal is to bring awareness to the potential in our communities and create a positive momentum for change. The event will be held in newly renovated buildings in Burlington but will showcase numerous locations in the community through a neighborhood tour. The event will also feature an exhibit of Burlington-based work from the UT College of Architecture, the AIA Design Slam, and the ETCDC Community Plan. This is a great way to help the Design Center bring awareness to this up and coming area and give back to Knoxville in a fun and enlightening way.
